Dollar Index Update : 10 Jan 2022

The U.S.Dollar Index  is trading at 95.91  up with +0.20% percent or +0.19   point.The Dow Futures is trading at 36,224.10 with a loss of -0.02% percent or -7.60 point.The S&P 500 Futures is  trading at 4,671.80 with a loss of -0.11% percent or -5.20 point.The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 15,543.50 with  a loss of -0.31% percent or –48.70 point.

 

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

The dollar ticked up on Monday amid rising bets U.S. inflation will bolster the case for higher interest rates while the European Central Bank’s dovish stance on rising prices weighed on the euro.

The dollar had met with selling late last week after a weaker-than-expected headline U.S. job-creation figure squeezed traders out of long dollar positions.
