Dollar Index Update : 14 Feb 2022

The U.S.Dollar Index  is trading at 96.28 with a loss of  -0.90% percent or -313.50 point.The Dow Futures is trading at 34,424.60 with a loss of -0.51% percent or -180.70 point.The S&P 500 Futures is  trading at 4,371.60 with a loss of -1.06% percent or -47.00 point.The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 14,087.50 with a loss of -1.17% percent or -166.30 point.




The dollar rose on Friday following a warning from White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan that Russia could invade Ukraine any day now.

Speaking at a White House briefing, Sullivan said any American still in Ukraine should leave in the next 24-48 hours because a Russian air assault would make departures difficult. His comments sent U.S. crude futures to $94.66 a barrel, the highest since 2014.



For the day the Dow is trading at 34,738.06 with a loss of –1.43%percent or ?503.53 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 4,418.64 with a loss of –1.90% percent or ?85.44 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 13,791.15 with a loss of –2.78% percent or –394.49  point.




Other leading market index closes included the small-cap Russell 2000 Index closed at 2,030.15 with a loss of -1.02% percent or21.02  point. the S&P 600 Small-Cap Index closed at 1,301.19 with a loss of –0.22% percent or −2.83  point. the S&P 400 Mid-Cap Index closed at 2,647.46 with a loss of –1.28% percent or −34.32  point. the S&P 100 Index closed at 2,031.42 with a loss of –1.86% percent or  −48.70  point.the Russell 3000 Index closed at 2,573.78 with a loss of –1.86% percent or −48.70  point. the Russell 1000 Index closed at 2,445.77 with a loss of –1.91% or −47.62 point.
