The U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 97.32 up with +0.17% percent or +0.16 point.The Dow Futures is trading at 26,426.00 up with +2.11% percent or +546.00point. The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 3,053.38 up with +1.88% percent or +56.38 point.The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 8,753.62 up with +1.99% percent or +171.12 point.


The dollar hovered near five-month lows versus the yen on Wednesday after the U.S. Federal Reserve’s emergency 50 basis point rate cut sparked more anxiety about the impact of the coronavirus and sent Treasury yields tumbling to record lows.

The greenback also traded near the lowest in almost two years against the Swiss franc as investors flocked to traditional safe havens as rate cuts were deemed insufficient to offset risks posed by the global spread of the coronavirus.
