US PRE MARKET

The US Dollar Index are trading at 95.87 with a loss of -0.18% percent or -0.16 point . The cac 40 index are trading at 5,216.62 with a loss of –0.69% percent or -36.28 point . The DAX Index are trading at 12,604.52 with a loss of –0.34% percent or –42.75 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Index are trading at 3,523.73 with a loss of  –0.33% percent or -11.83 point.

TODAY’s FACTORS AND EVENTS

U.S. stock index futures pointed to a mixed open on Thursday after all big banks tested by the Federal Reserve got their capital repurchase programs approved.

Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo, Citigroup and Bank of America all traded at least 1 percent higher.

For the first time in seven years, the Feddid not object to any of the capital plans of 34 banks it reviewed in the second part of the annual stress tests implemented in the wake of the financial crisis.

 Investors also geared up for a slew of data announcements during trade, while keeping an eye on the central banking sphere.

In data news, real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) data is due out at 8:30 a.m. ET, along with jobless claims. Meanwhile, investors will likely be keeping a close eye on yields in the bond market, as yields move higher.

The S&P 500 closed at 2,440.69 for up  with  +0.88% percent or +21.31 point. The Nasdaq Composite closed at 6,234.41 for up with +1.43% percent or +87.79 point.

Other leading market index closes included the small-cap Russell 2000 Index closed at 1,426.39 for up with  +1.47% percent or+20.65 point; the S&P 600 Small-Cap Index closed at 860.54 for up with  +1.53% percent or +12.96 point; the S&P 400 Mid-Cap Index closed at 1,755.79 for up with  +1.11% percent or +19.21 point; the S&P 100 Index closed at 1,075.74 for up with + 0.88% percent or +9.38 point; the Russell 3000 Index closed at 1,446.97 for up with  of +0.94% percent or +13.53 point; the Russell 1000 Index closed at 1,353.01 for up with  +0.89% percent or +11.99 point; and the Dow Jones U.S. Select Dividend Index closed at 21,454.61 for up with  +0.68% percent or +143.95 point.
