Dollar Index Update : 29 Oct 2021

The U.S.Dollar Index  is trading at 93.54  up with +0.21%  percent or +0.19 point.The Dow Futures is trading at 35,695.00 with a loss of -0.10% percent or -35.50 point.The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 4,572.90 with a loss of -0.51% percent or -23.50 point.The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 15,557.70 with a loss of -0.01% percent or -1.80 point.



The dollar held losses to the euro and British pound late on Thursday as currency traders digested moves in interest rate markets, comments by the European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde and a weaker-than-expected U.S. economic report.

The euro rose nearly 0.7% against the dollar and was headed for its biggest daily gain since May. It traded at $1.1681 in the late afternoon in New York.



For the day the Dow is trading at 35,490.69 with a loss of –0.74%percent or –266.19  point. The S&P 500 is trading at 4,551.68  with a loss of –0.51% percent or –23.11  point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 15,235.84  up with +0.00081% percent or +0.12   point.
