Dollar Index Update as on 08 November 2019

The U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 98.29 up with +0.15% percent or +0.14 point. The Dow Futures is trading at 27,671.00 up with +0.01% percent or +4.00 point. The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 3,085.38  with a loss of -0.02% percent or -0.62 point.  The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 8,225.25 with a loss of -0.06% percent or -5.25 point.


The dollar held its gains versus the yen and Swiss franc on Friday as investors bought riskier assets on news that China and the United States had agreed to roll back tariffs as part of an as yet unfinalized preliminary pact to end their trade war.

China and the United States have agreed to roll back tariffs on each others’ goods in a “phase one” trade deal if it is completed, officials from both sides said on Thursday.


For the day the Dow is trading at 27,674.80 up with +0.66% percent or +182.24 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 3,085.18 up with +0.27% percent or +8.40 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 8,434.52 up with +0.28% percent or +23.89 point.


Other leading market index closes included the small-cap Russell 2000 Index closed at 1,593.99 up with +0.28% percent or +4.45point; the S&P 600 Small-Cap Index closed at 987.52 up with 0.30% percent or +2.98 point; the S&P 400 Mid-Cap Index closed at 1,992.64  with +0.12% percent or +2.29  point; the S&P 100 Index closed at 1,374.80 up with +0.37% percent or +5.01 point; the Russell 3000 Index closed at 1,806.32 up with +0.28%  percent or +4.97 point; the Russell 1000 Index closed at 1,703.09 up with +0.28%  or +4.68 point.
