The U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 98.72 with  a loss of -0.40% percent or -0.40 point. The Dow Futures is trading at 26,333.00  with a loss of -0.17% percent or -45.00 point. The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 2,913.12  with a loss of -0.20% percent or -5.88 point.  The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 7,685.75  with a loss of -0.18% percent or -14.00 point.


The dollar weakened broadly against its rivals on Thursday as the progress of trade negotiations between the United States and China kept markets on edge with the prospects of a partial deal fueling appetite for trade-oriented currencies.

The Australian and New Zealand dollars led gains against the greenback after Bloomberg reported the United States is weighing a currency pact with China which could see a planned tariff hike next week being suspended.


For the day the Dow is trading at 26,346.01 up with +0.70% percent or  +181.97  point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,919.40 up with +0.91% percent or +26.34 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,903.74 up with +1.02% percent or +79.96 point.
