The U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 97.07 up with +0.06% percent or +0.06 point. The Dow Futures is trading at 25,389.00 up with -0.15% percent or -38.00 point. The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 2,740.38 with a loss of -0.11% percent or -3.12 point.  The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 7,008.25 with a loss of -0.16% percent or -11.75 point.


The dollar edged lower versus the yen on Friday as dismal U.S. retail sales data reinforced expectations the Federal Reserve will not raise rates this year, while the market awaited developments in trade talks between Washington and Beijing.

U.S. retail sales posted their largest decline since September 2009, data showed on Thursday, a sign of weakness in the consumer sector, which accounts for more than two-thirds of the economy.


For the day the Dow is trading at 25,439.39 with a loss of -0.41% percent or -103.88 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,745.73 with  a loss of -0.27% percent or -7.30 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,426.95 up with +0.089% percent or +6.58 point.
