The U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 96.59 up  with +0.02% percent or +0.02 point. The Dow Futures is trading at 25,046.00  with a loss of  -0.34% percent or -85.00 point. The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 2,693.88  with a loss of -0.37% percent or -10.12 point.  The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 6,870.00  with a loss of -0.51% percent or -35.50 point.


The dollar held near a two-week high on Friday, as demand for safe-haven assets rose on uncertainties about the path of U.S.-China trade negotiations and broader worries about slowing global growth.

Such concerns were brought to the fore on Thursday after the European Commission sharply cut its forecasts for euro zone economic growth this year and next on expectations the bloc’s largest countries will be held back by global trade tensions and domestic challenges.


For the day the Dow is trading at 25,169.53 with a loss of -0.87% percent or -220.77 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,706.05  with a loss of -0.94% percent or -25.56 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,288.35  with a loss of -1.18% percent or -86.93 point.


In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 20,333.17   with a loss of -2.01% percent or -418.11 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 27,946.32 with a loss of -0.16% percent or -43.89 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,618.23 up with +1.30% percent or +33.66 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 36,546.48  with a loss of -1.15% percent or -424.61 point at 12:15 PM.
