The U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 96.37  up with +0.27% percent or +0.27  point. The Dow Futures is trading at 24,568.50 up with +0.07% percent or +17.50 point. The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 2,641.38  up with +0.12% percent or +3.13 point.  The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 6,692.25 up with +0.41% percent or +27.00 point.


“We see a risk of modest dovish bias from Draghi today given the long stream of the soft euro zone data and look for the euro to test $1.1310,” said ING FX strategist Petr Krpata.

At 0830 the euro was down 0.2 percent at $1.1355.

Germany, France and Italy, the euro zone’s biggest economies, barely grew in the fourth quarter and French business activity fell unexpectedly this month, a survey showed on Thursday.


For the day the Dow is trading at 24,575.62 up with +0.70% percent or +171.14 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,638.70 up with +0.22% percent or +5.80 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,025.77 up with +0.077% percent or +5.41 point.
