US PRE MARKET

The US Dollar Index are trading at 93.02 for up with +0.39% percent or +0.36 point. The cac 40 index are trading at 5,265.73 with  a loss of -0.03% percent or -1.39 point . The DAX Index are trading at 12,607.04 for up with    +0.10%  percent or +12.23 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Index are trading at 3,535.78 with a loss of -0.06% percent or -2.03 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

The dollar climbed against most other currencies on Tuesday, rising to a one-month high against the euro as traders continued to digest the German election and looked ahead to a speech on monetary policy from Federal Reserve Chairwoman Janet Yellen.

The greenback drove up to its highest level against the euro since Aug. 25, with the shared currency EURUSD, -0.5401%  buying $1.1824, down from $1.1850 late Monday in New York. Meanwhile, the GBPEUR, +0.1935%  jumped to a 10-week high against the euro, buying €1.1423, up from €1.1367 on Monday.

U.S. market lower mixed on Monday. For the day the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 22,296.09 with a loss of -0.24% percent or -53.50 point. The S&P 500 closed at 2,496.66   with a loss of -0.22% percent or -5.56 point. The Nasdaq Composite closed at 6,370.59  with a loss of  -0.88% percent or -56.33 point.

Other leading market index closes included the small-cap Russell 2000 Index closed at 1,451.96 for up with  +0.08% percent or +1.18 point; the S&P 600 Small-Cap Index closed at 877.30 for up with +0.28% percent or  +2.43 point; the S&P 400 Mid-Cap Index closed at 1,771.85 for up with  +0.18% percent or +3.20 point; the S&P 100 Index closed at 1,103.60  with a loss of  –0.27% percent or –3.01 point; the Russell 3000 Index closed at 1,480.03   with a loss of  –0.19% percent or –2.83 point; the Russell 1000 Index closed at 1,384.38  with a loss of –0.21% percent or –2.96 point; and the Dow Jones U.S. Select Dividend Index closed at 22,296.09 with a loss of –0.24% percent or –53.50point.
