The US Dollar Index are trading at 89.35 with a loss of -0.09% percent or -0.08 point. The cac 40 index are trading at 5,114.30 for up with +0.37% percent or +19.09 point . The DAX Index are trading at 29.55 with a loss of -1.53% percent or -0.46 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Index are trading at 3,310.11 for up with +0.37% percent or +12.04 point.
TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS
The dollar slipped to a 16-month low against the Japanese yen on Monday, pressured by lingering fears of a global trade war and caution towards political developments in Tokyo.
The U.S. currency traded at 104.835 yen after falling to 104.560, its weakest since November 2016.
The dollar had already slumped 1.2 percent versus its Japanese peer last week as escalating trade tensions between the United States and China stoked concerns about global growth.
