Dollar Index Update on 30 May 2017


The US Dollar Index are trading at 97.610 for up with  +0.290% percent . The cac 40 index are trading at 5,288.64 with a loss of -0.82% percent . The DAX Index are trading at 12,607.27 with a loss of –0.17% percent. The EURO Stoxx 50 Index are trading at 3,556.18 with a loss of -0.64% percent .


U.S. stocks are poised to open flat to slightly lower on Tuesday as traders return to their desks after a long holiday weekend.

Risk sentiment appears to be waning with global equities retreating and safe-haven assets such as the yen and gold coming back into favor as EU political worries returned to haunt investors.

European currencies such as the euro and pound retreated against the dollar as speculation over a possible early election in Italy intensified and a poll showed British Prime Minister Theresa May’s lead over the opposition Labour Party dropped to 6 percentage points.


For the day the US Dollar Index closed at 97.41  with a loss of  -0.22% percent. France’s CAC 40 Index closed at 5,292.21 with a loss of –0.76%percent. Germany’s DAX Index closed at 12,604.94  with a loss of –0.19% percent.


For the day the Dow are trading at 21,080.28 with a loss of –0.01% percent. The S&P 500 are trading at 2,415.82 for up with +0.03% percent. The Nasdaq Composite are trading at 6,210.19 for up with +0.08% percent.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 are trading at 19,665.93 with a loss of –0.08% percent. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading at 25,701.63 for up with +0.24% percent. China’s Shanghai Composite are trading at 3,110.06 for up with +0.07% percent. India’s S&P BSE Sensex are trading at 31,151.94 for up with +0.14% percent as on 12:49 PM .
